BI Developer - SQL Server (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS) - Perm - Edinburgh - Market Rate

Abrecco wish to recruit an experienced Business Intelligence Developer on behalf of our client based in Edinburgh. In this role you will work as part a small collaborative team; helping our client to drive the increased use of Business Intelligence across the whole company. This will involve data integration, master data management, data analytics, and large scale data warehousing. Working across the full Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and PowerBI) you will be a high performer who is able to demonstrate experience of delivering exceptional Business Intelligence solutions within your previous roles.

Role responsibilities:
- Work as part of an Agile BI development team to design, implement and support solutions.
- Analyse and design software changes and develop new BI functionality
- Support and enhance existing BI solutions
- Test and document solutions

Personal and Technical skills;
- Extensive experience across SSIS, SSAS and SSRS (data warehousing, ETL and Reporting)
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2012 development skills including T-SQL, Stored Procedures etc (SQL Server 2016 experience is highly desirable)
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Able to work well within a team as well as with the wider business
- Any experience in Big Data, analytics, C# or UML would also be beneficial

The ideal candidate will be able to take responsibility of projects and manage their own workload effectively with minimum supervision. Previous experience within the financial service sector would be desirable however each application will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
