Business Analyst - 12 months FTC - Edinburgh - Up to £40K
Abrecco have been tasked exclusively, on behalf of our client, to recruit a Business Analyst to identify and document technical requirements as well as working with Project Managers and cross functional teams to design, develop and implement solutions. This is ideally suited to someone with a background in data driven applications, who is naturally inquisitive with excellent communication skills and has the ability to work with and manage stakeholder expectations.

Role responsibilities:
- Ensuring documentation of current business and data processes with primary focus on Professional Standards and User Engagement.
- Investigate and analyse existing IT systems and business process models.
- Providing support and assistance in the design, implement, configure and test data solutions.
- Analysing and interpreting systems and data requirements.
- Working collaboratively with IT and the business stakeholders
- Ensuring on-going communication with the business stakeholders to drive continual improvement.
- Document test scripts, new requirements and new operating procedures.
- Identifying appropriate and effective innovative ways to deliver beyond expectations.

Personal and technical attributes:
- Good knowledge of business process definition.
- Essential demonstrable experience in communicating well at all levels of the business.
- Proven experience with translating business requirements in to technical deliverables.
- Support and assist in the technical design of an application.
- Familiarity with technical design of data systems in line with the business needs.
