IT Support Analyst - Windows - Perm - Edinburgh - to 23k

Abrecco are delighted to be working exclusively with a market leading, global service provider as they search for an IT Support Analyst to look after their internal systems. Role responsibilities:

- To develop and support the existing IT Infrastructure
- Provide user support to internal users both on site and remotely
- Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies in line with the needs of the business
- Work directly with the Head of Technology to optimise the systems for future projects / business expansion

Personal and technical attributes:

- Our client is looking for an enthusiastic self starter with a keen interest in all aspects of IT
- Experience of supporting Windows (2012 and 2016) and Linux Servers in a virtualised / cloud environment
- Knowledge of MS Office 365 support (User admin etc.)
- A keen eye for detail with 1st class communication skills and excellent documentation writing
- You should have a real passion for technology with a willingness to take on new and challenging tasks
- An understanding of networking and the ability to troubleshoot / fault find and break fix
- Knowledge of / or an interest in scripting (PHP, Python, PowerShell etc.)
- Ability to support RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
- A can do attitude together with a real desire for continuous learning and career development
