Abrecco IT has a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced Security Analyst to support new and upcoming projects with a very well know global brand. This business is a highly successful market leader in its field who continues to go from strength to strength. As they continue to evolve and grow, they are looking for an experienced Security Analyst, ideally having experience from within the FS industry and who has a good understanding of enterprise level design, a proven ability to deliver excellent service and in leading challenging projects. The role will be varied from design and implementation to support and fault fixing of the security suite.The contract is on a 3 months rolling basis and until further notice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing new technologies, services, solutions and processes to offer advice to ensure security and alignment with best practice. The role includes elements of design, implementation, infrastructure simplification, migration for the security portfolio and assist with the ongoing support of this, for both the server estate and end-user environments.

As a result, you will have an IT Security background as well as an interest in the security industry and driven to continuous learning and developing new skills. You will have an advanced understanding of Windows and Linux Operating system, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator with hands on experience of managing, in-depth technical ability gained in an IT support or development environment, demonstrable problem solving, analytical skills and excellent attention to detail, end to end service/third line fault fixing and diagnosis and an understanding of scripting and coding languages, (C# desirable) and some disaster/recovery solutions knowledge and experience. You will also have excellent technical troubleshooting experience, good knowledge of security product sets, PC configuration and system registry setting.

You will have a minimum 5 years IT experience in an support or development environment, ITIL v3 foundation, CISSP and a full UK driving licence. There will be some travel required to sites and there may be extended working hours and possible weekend work.
