Senior Software Developer - Azure, C#.NET, Data - 6 mth cont - Edinburgh - Market rates

Our client is looking for a Senior Software Developer with extensive experience of working on middle tier and data projects as part of a large scale global technology implementation. This is a rare and unique opportunity to join an international team and be based at the customers Edinburgh office. As part of this project you will benefit from an all expenses paid trip to a major Microsoft event with the rest of the project team. You will need to have extensive experience of cloud technology, specifically Azure.

Role responsibilities:
- Contribute as part of an international technology team in all aspects of the SDLC
- Work with stakeholders and project teams to provide technical architecture and design support
- Design and develop complex, scalable n-tier software applications
- Liaise with the QA team with regards to Use Cases and Test Harnesses
- Work closely with other contractors and client staff as part of an agile team

Personal and technical attributes:

- Expert knowledge of C#.NET and ADO .NET
- Demonstrable experience of working with Azure
- Experience of working with all aspects of SQL Server (Reporting stack, admin etc.)
- Previous experience of SOA (including microservices)
- Any knowledge of Azure AD integration would be beneficial though not essential
- Additional knowledge of integrating CRM and / or Avaya would be highly advantageous
- Experience of MVC, JSON, XML, SOAP etc.
