Software Engineer - Java / Mobile - Perm - Edinburgh - To Circa 35k

Abrecco are recruiting a Software Engineer on behalf of our successful and fast growing Edinburgh based client to work on a variety of innovative web and mobile software projects that will be utilised globally. Working as part of a highly collaborative and motivated Agile team, you will contribute to the creation of fast, user friendly applications as well as the design, test and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing products. In addition to back end Java skills, you will also be familiar with responsive web and mobile development

Role responsibilities:
- Work as part of an Agile team and contribute to successful delivery of projects.
- Develop intuitive, visually appealing and user friendly applications
- Design, test and implement enhancements to existing applications
- Develop across various web - mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Windows UWP etc)

Personal and technical attributes:
- Back end Java development (ideally incorporating Spring, Hibernate, MySQL)
- Front end Web (angular, react etc) with Mobile (iOS, Android and/or Windows UWP)
- Integrating and/or designing RESTful APIs.
- Developing scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
- Linux knowledge
- Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodology.
- Ideally degree educated in a relevant subject.
