Software Product Manager - Enterprise Software/ .NET/ Oil - Gas - Perm - Huntly

Abrecco have an exciting opportunity for a Software Product Manager to join and small yet well established software company based in Huntly, Aberdeenshire who delivery solutions to Oil - Gas customers across the Globe. This is a truly exciting opportunity to work in a small and highly collaborative environment and ensure that business requirements are properly understood and the software development team deliver quality solutions that meet expectations. You will have a balanced mix of analysis, communication and leadership skills with a strong software development background ideally gained within a Microsoft .NET environment.

Role responsibilities
Understand and translate business requirements into highly specified project briefs and functional requirements
Examine existing IT systems, applications and business models.
Plan and estimate product deliveries
Lead and manage cross functional Microsoft project teams in the development and delivery of solutions
Provide assistance in creating user manuals to users of a new system
Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments

Personal and technical attributes:
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical individuals
Ability to work with the business and work with, lead and direct cross-functional development teams.
Strong experience of the software development cycle with programming experience (ideally in .NET)
Ability to write clear and concise documents such as functional requirements and user manuals
Planning and estimating skills (budget, time scale etc)
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
High degree of initiative with a ‘can do’ attitude
A methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind
Ideally you will be degree educated and/or have relevant industry certifications.
