Technical Business Analyst - Infrastructure - Perm - Edinburgh - Up to 40K BGP

Abrecco wish to recruit, on behalf of our client, a Technical Business Analyst to identify and document technical requirements as well as working with Project Managers and cross functional teams to design, develop and implement solutions. This is ideally suited to someone with a good grounding in infrastructure or business application technologies, who is naturally inquisitive with excellent communication skills and has the ability to work with and manage stakeholder expectations.

Role responsibilities:
- Analysing and interpreting business needs in a technically challenging environment.
- Identifying appropriate and effective solutions that ensure a consistent approach across the group.
- Being visible within the business and use personal influence to engage - support the project team and key stakeholders.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for developing and delivering the detailed business requirements
- Delivering requirements to a high quality standard and following best practice.
- Ensuring requirements are appropriately challenged with the benefits and success criteria agreed and by the business stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively within project to ensure solution is clear and development meets business requirements.

Personal and technical attributes:
- Proven experience with requirements gathering and understanding of the project lifecycle.
- Essential business analysis experience within an IT infrastructure of application environment.
- Experience working with technical IT people with experience in being able to document and -understand technical terminology.
- Familiarity with technical process re-engineering.
- Self-operating personality, with the ability to drive and motivate others.
- Knowledge of desktop, server, networking, virtualisation, and/or infrastructure service management would be beneficial.
