Test Analyst - BI - Perm - Edinburgh - £37k DOE
Abrecco have an excellent permanent opportunity available for a forward thinking, career focussed Test Analyst to join a small professional team of high-calibre, valued solution focussed delivery experts as a result of new project demands within our highly successful client. You will be a driven professional looking to establish a long term career within a company at the forefront of their market. You will have an in-depth understanding of software testing including the design, build and execution of manual and automation tests, documenting results and collaborating with cross functional development teams to deliver robust business critical applications within an enterprise scale environment.

Role responsibilities:
- Working in a highly communicative, fast moving and cohesive team environment
- Analyse, design, build and execute manual and automated tests
- Develop effective inter-departmental relationships with development teams - internal business areas
- Work across the full software test and development lifecycle
- Strong organisational skills managing demands and working to strict deadlines
- Log results, creating test reports and review results against project plans.

Personal and technical attributes:
- Proven experience working on Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing projects
- Experience in Systems - UAT Testing
- Knowledge of TFS, Microsoft Test Manager
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of SQL Server 2012
- Test Automation experience would be an advantage
- Maintaining technical / system documentation.
- ISEB / ISTQB test certification would be beneficial
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies
