Abrecco’s mission is to provide Technology clients and candidates with outstanding recruitment services that they use again and again. Abrecco provide a fully integrated Technology recruitment service for contract and permanent opportunities. It is important that you are happy with our service and we will do everything possible to maintain and improve upon that level of service.
Our job does not end once contracts have been exchanged; instead we firmly believe that on-going contact is a crucial aspect of the recruitment process. As well as being available on a daily basis to respond to our contractors issues, we also like to hold informal reviews to ensure that they are happy not only with their assignment, but also with all aspects of our service. In addition to telephone contact we also like to meet our contractors on a regular basis either on site or socially.
Abrecco will provide guidance on market opportunities, salaries and employer information. Abrecco endeavours to provide feedback to candidates from clients if they are unsuccessful. Perhaps the most useful aspect of client feedback on unsuccessful applicants is that it provides information on the candidate’s interview performance and profile as perceived by the client. Future applications are more focused as the applicant and Abrecco gain an understanding of the type of client most likely to value their qualities.
We will give you information on a company so that you can make an informed decision on whether you want your CV to be put forward by us. Similarly we want to make sure that you are suitably qualified in order not to waste your or our client’s time.
If a new position becomes available, we will get in touch with you to discuss it. We won’t submit your CV without your express approval. This guarantees you know which companies your CV has been put forward to, and an email or postal confirmation will be sent to you.
We will give you feedback from companies where your details have been forwarded immediately after it has been provided by them.
Abrecco will conduct a rigorous assessment to ensure that you are fully aware of the nature of the position and will confirm with you, your own skills and objectives. Areas that will be discussed include:
The above procedures are designed to ensure that this is the best opportunity for you.
We spend much of our time talking to large numbers of organisations in order to keep abreast of what is happening in the market and where opportunities are likely to arise. Companies will frequently come to us and ask us to find a particular type of person. By talking to IT Managers we get a good idea of the type of person they are looking for to do the job and therefore we are in a better position to identify the right person.
Your details are also entered on our shared database, giving access to all our consultants who operate across the UK. So in effect, you can have several consultants trying to find you a suitable position. This is where we first look when resourcing a new opportunity; obviously if you’re a match then you’re in the front line of candidates for the job.
You may read the Appointments Sections but are probably aware that many IT requirements are not advertised and that we can bring to your attention any opportunities you would never hear about.
When we agree that you want your details submitted to a particular company your CV will go out professionally prepared together with a candidate summary prepared from the consultant’s notes and, where completed and returned by you, a detailed technical skills summary. As we come from a sales background, we are probably better at promoting you than you are yourself and we will include additional relevant information, specific to the role you are applying for to maximise your chances – that’s the aim of these notes and skills summary.
It is important when we are acting as your agent that we present the sort of professional, business like image you would want to present yourself.
Because we are in the field talking to Technology Managers, we build a lot of personal contacts, it is more productive to talk to them on a one to one basis about yourself rather than just send your CV like everybody else.
We’ll take care of all the interview arrangements and inform you in writing of times, places and the people you will be interviewed by. It helps if we get involved at the negotiation stage, because you will have your idea on a salary and the company will have their own figure in mind and we can assist in finding a mutually acceptable package.
