1st Line Support Engineer - MS Windows - Paisley - £DOE + Benefits

We’re aware that there’s lots of IT Graduates out there looking for a break into the ever changing world of IT Support who just don’t seem to get the opportunity they want.

Well we can change that for one lucky person.

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer focussed 1st Line Support Engineer where you’ll be responsible for logging and resolving 1st level issues while escalating more complex tickets to senior members of the team.

If you’ve been working in customer services while searching for your big break and you’ve gained excellent communication skills to support your technical degree then we expect you’ll be confident speaking to our client’s customers via telephone, remotely or face to face.

You’ll be joining a busy support team where you’ll receive excellent long term career and skills development within a fast paced IT Support environment.

In return for their long term investment in you, our client would like you to be able to fulfil the following criteria:

Role Responsibilities;
- Manage and resolve customer incoming IT queries
- Provide IT Support via Telephone, face to face or remotely
- Support senior team members with the ongoing maintenance of internal systems
- Support internal members with IT related issues (Password resets / system updates)

Personal and Technical Attributes;
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a helpdesk environment
- Working knowledge of Windows 7/10 and MS Office10/13/16
- Additional knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008 R2, 2012, AD or MS Exchange would be beneficial.
