This opportunity requires a solid understanding of all aspects of Cisco voice and data networking and ideally security. You will be joining a small team of Network Engineers spread across the EMEA region, and should be willing to work remotely, often as the sole network resource recommending, building, testing, implementing, supporting and managing robust and secure enterprise scale LAN / WAN technologies. This would be ideally suited to an engineer with around 4 years experience and looking for their next challenge so if this sounds interesting, then get in touch with Craig at Abrecco or read on to find out more!
What you’ll bring
- Circa 4 years Cisco CCNA / CCNP level knowledge and ideally certification
- Experienced in recommending, building, testing and the installation of Cisco switches, routers, hubs, ISE, NFV, Load Balancing etc. to meet requirements
- In-depth knowledge of routing and security (BGP, EIGRP etc.) as well as ASA, Nexus etc.
- Support of Voice and Data systems on Windows, Unix & Linux platforms
- Familiar with SolarWinds
This is an all encompassing role where you will have the opportunity to work across network provisioning, liaising with clients and vendors, documentation, building labs and writing proof of concepts right down to cabling and patching so if you like variety in an enterprise scale role, this could be the one for you.
Our client is a well established global organisation offering solid long term career prospects within a dynamic, fast paced working environment and a salary commensurate with experience + benefits and on-call allowance.
