Desktop Support Engineer - Windows, iOS, O365 - 4m Cont - London and Edinburgh - C 300 / day

Abrecco are recruiting a Senior Desktop Support Engineer on behalf of our highly successful and rapidly expanding client based in Edinburgh. This role will initially be based in Edinburgh (3 to 5 weeks) before returning to London for the remainder of the assignment. As well as excellent customer facing skills you will have a proven track record of providing technical support with the ability to liaise with internal customers at all levels within a tier 1 banking environment. Your skills should include;

Role responsibilities:
- Experience building, implementing and supporting Desktop systems (Windows and iOS)
- Proven commercial experience gained in a tier 1 banking environment
- Excellent customer facing communication skills
- Good technical documentation skills.

Personal and technical attributes:
- Degree or similar in Computer Science or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of supporting Windows and iOS
- Experience in the deployment and support of Active Directory (group policy etc.)
- Experience with MS Exchange server
- Experience of supporting MS Office 365
- Previous experience of supporting a variety of mobile devices and associated apps
- Knowledge of web and desktop conferencing systems
- Ability to manage tasks through effective prioritisation
