Integration Analyst - Content Management Perm - Edinburgh - Circa 30K GBP

Abrecco are working with our Edinburgh based client to recruit an Integration engineer with a mix of development and support experience. You will be joining an expanding team who work with vendors and customers to integrate and support content management modular solutions.

The role will see you as part of a small, highly skilled team, who will train you in the skills you'll need to become a world class technical consultant. You will eventually become skilled in: business analysis, technical consulting, system support and user training amongst others.

You will be customer focussed with excellent communication, analytical and problem solving abilities coupled with broad ranging technical knowledge that incorporates windows systems, networking, OO programming scripting and database technologies.

As this is a customer facing role you should be comfortable liaising remotely as well as travelling to customer sites on occasion.

Role Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers to analyse requirements as well as supporting solutions
- Configure and install application modules for customers
- Analyse 3rd party applications and develop APIs or scripts to integrate solutions
- Install and troubleshoot system and networking issues
- Work with the wider team to Improve and support existing workflows and integrations

Personal and Technical Attributes:
- Proven experience in a Support, Integration or Implementation role.
- You will be a self-learner and keen to expand your knowledge and abilities in the technical and business related aspects of solutions delivery
- Ability to interact with customers at all levels, from Senior Directors to end-users
- An understanding of business process automation
- Good knowledge of at least one object orientated (OO) programming language (C#.NET, VB.NET, Java, C++)
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel on rare occasions across Scotland
- An understanding of at least some of the following; Network protocols, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP etc.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and Regular Expressions
- An understanding of Microsoft Server/Client, Active Directory and MS Exchange coupled with Microsoft Office products.
- Microsoft SQL Server or another RDBMS will be taught if not already known.
- Have the ability to write technical documents
