IT Helpdesk Analyst - Windows - 12m FTC - Edinburgh - To 25K GBP

Abrecco are working with a well established and long term client who are based in Edinburgh to recruit an IT helpdesk support analyst for a 12 month fixed term period. You will be joining an expanding team, supporting users at all levels across the business providing fixes or escalating issues as required. You will also have strong problem solving skills with technical knowledge and experience covering Microsoft Windows 7,8 - 10, AD, Exchange / Outlook and MS Office, Mac OS and iPhone/iPad devices as well as the ability to support a wide variety of peripherals. You will have excellent communication skills, be customer focussed and enjoy working in a fast paced team environment providing remote support.

Role Responsibilities
- Accurately log support calls from users at all levels across the business providing 1st level fixes wherever possible
- Remotely troubleshoot issues with PC, Mac, virtualised devices, printers and other peripherals
- Monitor logged and allocated calls ensuring escalations are followed up within SLA’s
- Check server and network performance taking action as required
- Provide a customer focussed and professional service at all times
- Cover out of hours support on a shift rota basis.

Personal and technical attributes:
- Customer focussed with excellent communication skills and natural problem solving abilities
- Ability to support Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10, Mac OS and iOS devices
- Advance skills in Microsoft Office to 2013 and ideally Office365
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook and MS Exchange
- A strong desire to learn new skills and gain experience in new technologies
- A HND / Degree in computing or relevant certifications would also be beneficial
