You’ll be able to hone your skills in all aspects of IT Security including Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Security Compliance, and Procedures and Controls development. What you will be doing:
- Security systems administration of locally hosted and remotely managed datacentres as well as public cloud environments.
- Manage Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems and Security Event and Information Management
- Configure Firewalls, Anti-Malware, Content Filtering
- Security Configuration Management
- Continuous Operational Security Monitoring
- Security hardening through configuration tools like Ansible, puppet, chef etc.
- Documentation of Security process and standards

What you will bring:
- End to end IT security and system administration skills and experience (IDPS, SEIM, etc)
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, systems administration and configuration management tools.
- Familiar with change management, capacity planning and incident management
- Strong networking skills (routing, switching, VPN, MFA, network protocols and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark)
- Familiar with multi-factor authentication and data encryption
- Scripting skills in Python/Perl/Bash etc.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of individuals
- Excellent problem solving abilities
