IT Support Analyst - 2nd Line Windows - 3Mth Cont - Aldershot - to Market rates

Abrecco has been engaged to recruit an experienced and highly customer focussed Contract IT Support Analyst on behalf of our client for an initial 3 month contract based at their Aldershot site. You will be joining a small team in the provision of 2nd level technical support of a large scale Windows environment. In addition to your technical abilities, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude and be extremely customer focussed.:

Role responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Desktop Support to users at all levels within the business
- Take ownership of technical problems from initial contact to final resolution
- Provide remote and deskside support to 100+ users across multiple sites
- Liaise with 3rd party providers and escalate issues to other teams when required

Personal and technical attributes:
- Experience of 1st and 2nd level Technical Support in a large scale Windows environment
- Positive proactive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Commercial experience supporting Windows desktop/laptops, Active Directory etc.
- Hardware / Software Support / upgrade / distribution etc.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory (Ideally with Group Policy experience)
- Driving licence and own vehicle and willing to travel to other local sites when required
- Experience in the support of Office 365
- Any additional knowledge of Windows Server / MS Exchange etc.
