IT Support Engineer - Windows - Perm - Peebles - to 28K plus benefits

If you’re a friendly, positive, organised and customer focussed helpdesk or support engineer who might be interested in moving into a more all-encompassing support/project delivery role offering training and development, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will join a growing team where you will troubleshoot and administer all IT related functions and be working closely alongside the Assistant IT manager. You will have a proven background in providing excellent technical support and have knowledge of Windows, MS Exchange, Active Directory. While experience with the aforementioned will be great, the most important qualities this client is looking for is friendliness, a caring personality and great customer service.

What you will be doing;
- Provide technical support remotely or onsite to customers in relation to software or connectivity issues
- Implement or upgrade software either onsite or remotely
- Plan and organise work plans

What you will bring;
- Customer focussed approach with excellent communication skills along with proven technical support experience
- In depth networking knowledge as well Microsoft client / server operating systems
- Experience of Windows 7/10, MS Exchange and Active Directory would be great
- You will be an organised self starter with excellent time management
- Ability to further upskill and develop yourself
