Lead Engineer - C++ / Security / Networking / Linux - Edinburgh - to 65K GBP

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and managing a team of Engineers in an innovative Agile environment
- Being a hands-on senior figure as you develop and improve a range of globally-used security products in one of the organisation’s fastest growing areas
- Liaising with Product Management teams as well as other personnel both in-house and off-shore to ensure products are deployed smoothly
- Contributing heavily to the design phases as well as code reviews

What you will bring:
- Strong and recent development experience with C++ in a Linux environment
- Previous experience of leading a team of Engineers in an Agile environment, ideally on cloud/appliance security software projects
- Knowledge across networking and web protocols ( TCP / UDP / HTTP/S / etc. ) would be ideal
- Ideally you’ll have a degree in Computer Science or similar
- A bonus would be any experience of developing packet/application/web filtering software

A salary of up to £65,000 is on offer for the right individual, alongside a generous benefits package including bonus scheme.
