Abrecco’s Glasgow city centre based client is looking for a talented Lead UX/UI Designer to join their growing organisation as they work on the latest tech for a number of household brands. The successful candidate will be meeting and working with their clients to gather requirements, developing tailored design solutions, and managing projects from planning stages through to implementation. This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate, experienced individual who thrives in leadership and client-facing scenarios to play an integral part in one of the most exciting companies out there. What you’ll be doing:
- Taking ownership of the planning and design approach for a range of mobile/web UX/UI projects
- Working closely with clients to gather requirements and define the design strategy
- Developing and producing solutions through Information Architecture, Wireframe documents, etc.
- Managing projects from research (requirements/user stories) to user testing and implementation

What you will bring:
- Strong commercial experience with conceptual/technical UX/UI design
- A qualification in Design and a demonstrable and considerable design portfolio
- Excellent interpersonal skills and previous experience in client-facing situations
- Previous experience of resource/project management and ideally Design Thinking, Sprints or similar methodologies
- Any knowledge of the digital sector would be advantageous
