Abrecco, in partnership with one of their high profile clients, an instantly recognisable, global brand are experiencing huge growth through business acquisitions, have an urgent contract requirement for an experienced IT Network - Security Specialist with volume multi site experience and with hands on experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, wireless, voice systems and firewalls, knowledge of Enterprise system monitoring , management and troubleshooting tools and knowledge of VoIP implementation and support. Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate this in full. In addition, you will have a degree or a minimum of 3 years equivalent experience, a valid CCNP and CCNA certification and a full UK driving licence. In-depth experience of the following network technologies are essential and will be tested, in particular:


Switching: Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN's, Trunking, Etherchannel, Packet Analysis, QoS, Catalyst, 6500 - 6800, Nexus Data Centre.

Security: ASA Firewalls, Rules Configuration and Troubleshooting, Cisco, Contact Centre Express, H323 Gateways

Troubleshooting: Application Performance, LAN/WAN Issues

The role responsibilities include - troubleshooting, installing, implementing and administering network systems and providing 3rd level support. This role requires a minimum of 40% travel weekly across England and applicants are required to have their own transport and previous proven experience in a similar role where you have clearly provided multi site support. This position serves as a technical lead, providing guidance and mentorship to network system engineers, designs technical solutions and coordinates with the staff to ensure timely and accurate implementation and therefore experience in a lead capacity is essential, along with multi site customer facing experience and strong self starter approach. You will be a confident, proactive professional with excellent work ethic and excellent communication skills.
