PHP AWS DevOps Developer

(Fully remote to begin with, and work from home and flexible hours thereafter)

The tech bit:

Experience with AWS DevOps / Infrastructure and related tech (S3, RDS, EC2, Redis, etc.) Strong PHP skills ideally with LaravelGood understanding and track record of developing APIs and Restful servicesExperience with MySQL or similar relational databases

Our Edinburgh client’s looking to for someone who enjoys both IT operations as well as development as the role can be a  75% / 25% split in favour of Ops one week and 75%/ / 25% in favour of development another.  You will be able to fully utilise your experience across AWS DevOps and wider infrastructure (S3, RDS, EC2, Redis, etc.) plus enjoy using your skills in PHP and Laravel.  Amongst other things, duties will include optimising internal infrastructure, ensure the tech stack and environments are in the best shape possible, and take on wider responsibilities such as API/Restful web service development, new tooling / system / integrations builds, and more.
