Abrecco’s Lanarkshire based client develops a range of bespoke software applications that enable their customers to run their businesses more efficiently. They are currently going through a period of expansion and are in need an experienced Developer with skills across Object-Oriented PHP, Laravel (or similar), and some other tools, to come in and help drive the business forward. What you will be doing:
- Working across multiple projects varying in size and complexity
- Getting involved across all elements of the software development lifecycle
- Hands-on development of software solutions
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure efficient and successful delivery of projects

What you will bring:
- Experience with Object Oriented PHP
- Strong knowledge of MySQL
- Good working knowledge of Laravel (preferred) or another PHP MVC framework (Symfony/Zend/etc)
- Skills across JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS
- Proficiency with version control software, ideally Git
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- An understanding of BDD, TDD, unit tests and acceptance tests would be a bonus
