Abrecco has exciting opportunities for full stack, front end or back end focussed .NET software engineers to join a well established financial services organisation based in Edinburgh at one of the most exciting times in their history. Working to Agile methodologies, you will get the chance to work as part of diverse and collaborative cross functional project teams to deliver solutions. This role requires hands on experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle using .NET and associated technologies coupled with a self starter attitude and eagerness to keep up to date with and utilise new technologies. Role - Responsibilities;
- New and continued development / enhancement of business applications
- Contribute to every stage of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Support the testing and enhancement of business systems both technically and by contributing ideas
- Analyse and design software changes and new functionality

Personal and Technical Attributes;
- Collaborative with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Excellent experience of developing .NET applications with SQL Server (C#.NET, ASP.NET etc.)
- Experience of MVC, Visual Studio, Entity Framework
- Angular, CSS, HTML etc
- Familiar with Agile methodologies (in particular SCRUM which they are currently adopting)
- Any additional skills around Azure, API development or DevOps would also be desirable
