You will be a creative team player who enjoys solving technical problems and be able to bring new ideas to the table as you go. Working with real time systems employing C on embedded Linux/Windows platforms, you’ll also be getting to grips with devices running on Microcontroller / ARM / Intel microprocessor based hardware, in an environment which also includes a range of other programming languages such as C++, C# and Java.

Role responsibilities:
- Strong skills in Real Time Embedded Software Engineering
- A team player able to bring new, innovative ideas to solve complex engineering challenges
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with client facing abilities
- Previous experience working in a technical R-D environment

Personal and technical attributes:
- Extensive commercial experience of C programming for embedded Linux / Windows / VxWorks platforms
- Knowledge of Real Time operating systems, Microcontrollers / Microprocessors
- An understanding of hardware and device driver development
- Knowledge of the full SDLC in an Agile environment
- Previous experience with C++, C# and/or Java would be beneficial
