Abrecco’s Edinburgh based client is looking for an Agile test analyst to join a collaborative team and provide end to end system and user acceptance testing within a financial environment. You should be able to take ownership of test planning, scripting and executing functional tests, as well as utilising automation testing tools and techniques where possible. Role responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, analyst programmers and other testers
Develop test scenarios using risk based models
Develop detailed test cases that find bugs, issues and prove quality
Execute test cases
Use test automation wherever appropriate

Personal and technical attributes:
Proven software test experience with knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and approaches
Full Test Design; Execution and Defect Management experience across a number of projects.
Financial services experience required (ideally pension based systems)
A good knowledge of test automation and how it can be fully realised
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Excellent planning skills and ability to co-ordinate testing activities
Experience of Microsoft Test Manager
UFT (Unified Functional Testing OR QTP previously) or FIT (FitNesse) experience
Exposure to Cucumber, SpecFlow and Gherkin would also be beneficial.
