An opportunity for a keen Web Designer/Developer to join a great, market-leading organisation in the heart of Glasgow has popped up, and we’re very excited to be helping our client in their search for new talent! If you’re a team player who wants to get stuck in across both web design and development, and have experience with tools like Sketch/Adobe XD/Photoshop/HTML and/or CSS, then this is the role for you!

Our client, a well-known and international organisation in the middle of Glasgow’s city centre with expansion in their sights, are currently on the lookout for an eager individual with experience across web design and development to come on board and join their innovative digital team. So if you’ve been using tools such as HTML and CSS as well as Sketch, Photoshop and Adobe XD, and like the sound of joining a key player in one of the hottest industries out there that will give you the opportunity to showcase your creative talents while working on a diverse range of new and exciting projects, let’s have a chat!

What you will be doing:
- Contributing to the improvement of our client’s digital platform (the largest in the industry!)
- Developing and designing aesthetic and fictional user interfaces for their unique product suite
- Collaborating closely with other Design and Development representatives in the digital team
- Working at the epicentre of one of the hottest industries out there, and being rewarded as you do so!

What you will bring:
- Considerable experience across user-centric web design and development
- Strong skills in HTML and CSS, CSS frameworks and grid systems
- Previous experience with design tooling such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Knowledge of JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as jQuery, and of branding and typography
- Ideally a relevant degree, but a good design portfolio and experience is more significant
- A bonus would be any experience with Vue/Angular/React, Twig, Gulp, NPM, Webpack and/or Yarn
